Cheer Info Calendar: We have given girls hard copies of the calendar, as well as posting on our cheer website (http://whscheer.sports.officelive.com/calendar.aspx ).
Practice: Our summer return date is Monday, Jul 27 for both Varsity & JV. We will be meeting at Wilson at 6pm. Get ready for a great season!
We expect the girls to stay active this summer and to continue conditioning on their own. We hope that parents will support that endeavor so we are ready to go in July and through the rest of the season! Some options are open gym, tumbling classes and working out (walk/run/weights/swim) with a friend or on own! Just stick to some sort of schedule or plan for daily activity!
PLEASE NOTE: FAMILY VACATION IS NOT A VALID EXCUSE TO MISS OUR RETURN DATE. THESE DATES ARE A MUST TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR COMPETITION SQUAD!
Schedule: Varsity & JV will be tumbling 2x/week beginning on Aug. 17. In the fall, we will all be practicing 2x/week, and have one football game (Thursday for JV, Friday for Varsity).
ALL CHEERLEADERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ON TIME FOR PRACTICES AND GAMES. Failure to show up will result in suspension from performances/games. Continuous tardies/absences will result in suspension from the team.
Guidelines: Upon arrival at practices and games, we expect cheerleaders to be prepared. This includes: - Dressed in complete uniform (for practice or game)
- Finished eating snacks/dinner
- Fingernails clipped & unpainted (Absolutely no acrylic nails)
- All jewelry removed
- DO NOT PIERCE ANYTHING- YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT PER SAFETY REGULATIONS
- HAIR PULLED UP & OUT OF FACE- ALL THE WAY UP!
